Very Balanced and Compact.

Our oboe reeds with Guercio D11 staples and Kreedo 1a shape have a very balanced and compact sound. There’s pleasantly little difference in sound between long and short fingerings, like D''/C''.

They have a rather small sound volume and are well-suited for chamber music and chamber orchestras, as they’re not overpowering.

The intonation is stable across all registers.

This reed model in regular playing strength is intended for advanced and regularly practising players.
It has a slightly higher blowing resistance than the light version, offers a somewhat fuller tone, responds well, and is easy to play freely across all registers.

The reeds should be played in over about 4-6 days. During this time, they might change and could need some adjustments.
